Ansh's week 13: the joy of talking

The big news this week is that I can now 'talk'. I am making a lot of sounds now. No clear words yet, but my favorite syllables are 'aau', 'aaiya' or 'haiya', and 'brru'. Talking is so much fun. Right after I talk I smile a lot at my achievement and even laugh with some sounds :). Isn't that exciting?

I also like standing up on my own feet when someone holds me up. It gives little exercise to my legs and makes me feel good. I make lot of noises when I am standing up. With some support, I also love to walk by moving my feet one after the other. I can walk over 5ft (width of our bed) at a time without getting tired already :).

I also like listening to gujarati jodakana from two ba, mummy, or the audio cassette. I also love listening to the rainforest sounds in my gym. I also like watching pictures or birds and flowers in ba-dada's room.

I am drooling a lot more these days. I also like to make lot of bubbles. The book on children says that these could be signs that I am happy with everything or that I am getting ready to teeth.

I have also got another habit now. If I eat with mummy or daddy I do nakhara and don't drink all of my milk because I just want to keep playing all day long :). I keep playing until I am too tired and then I go to sleep.

Finally, being a sports fan, I can't end the post without saying that every night I don't go to sleep without listening to "We will we will rock you" and "take me out to the ballgame" :).

Full of life

Hello everybody, I am back with my new stories.These days I am playing in my new gym. I also do tummy time in gym and I punch or kick any toy or any part of gym and it starts music. I love to smile and laugh to everyone. These days when I get up from sleep in the morning. I give such a big smile to my mommy and daddy. Its just enough to spend whole day with full of life. Everyone forgets everything when I am around.
This week my mommy had a surgery. So, Mummy and daddy were at hospital for 4 days. They are back now. My mummy's health is OK now. She is getting better. I missed them so much. I know definitely they missed me too. These days I spend most of the time with my two Ba. I make so many noises when I am asleep. I love to listen to music, I love dancing and story time. I like dark colors so much.
My routine is pretty much set. I get up early in the morning. Generally around 5 5.30 in the morning. I drink milk and I go for a walk in stroller with Grandpa. After coming home I do some tummy time and play in my gym or I go to sleep. I get up when it is my breakfast time.I have milk, play with everyone then get Malish and Shower mostly from Ba. Few days Papa, Mummy tried to Malish me and gave me a bath. After taking shower I go to sleep. I have my food after every 3 hours. Food time, Play time and Sleepy time. In the evening I seat on the swing and I go for a walk in stroller. When Papa comes home from work. He spends most of the time with me. Generally, After my late night feeding 11.30 12.00 sometimes later than that I go to sleep and get up directly at early morning. This is my schedule. Mommy is getting better, so I will spend more time with her once she is feeling good.

This week we also celebrated my kaka winning a prize in a data minning contest yoo hoo... See I do have good genes!! You can see his certificate and pics of everyone eating cake without giving me any :( in this weeks pics.

Dada and Ba's Birthday

Hi! Everyone,

I am back with my new story. This week there were two B'days. Dada's Birthday was on 1st Sept and Ba's B'day was on 4th Sept. I was dressed up in new cloths both days and we celebrated B'days with tons of fun. We had been to watch musical fountains near Dada's work. I was in stoller at that time. This week I was with my both Ba,Mummy and somedays with Kaki too. I love to look at colorful books and I also love listening when somebody talks to me.
Today mummy gave me bath first time :). We both enjoyed it. Usually Ba gives me bath. Other than that now I am growing fast so new born baby clothes doesn't fit me anymore.
I laugh a lot to everyone. I love to go out. I enjoy my rollover. I like to look at my stuffed toys.
My features are changing now. I look different than before.
Can you tell me how do I look like? Some people say I look like Mommy and some say I look like daddy. But I think I have my own identity, I don't look like anyone. What do you say?

I am 2 months old

Hello everyone,

I am growing very fast. Now when I roll over, I can turn back to original position. I push my self by knees and try to go ahead when I am on my tummy, andd..... I succeeded few times in going ahead :). I keep my head lifted for a long time when I am on my tummy. Now a days,I laugh a lot to everyone. When I get up in the morning, I give smile to everyone.

I spent most of the time with my Naniba and Mommy this week as we three were home whole week. I love to listen to Naniba's Bhajans. Mommy tells me lot of stories and she does prayers everyday that I like to listen. In the evening I go for a walk in my stroller with Ba and Dada. I like it so much. I like to go outside in open environment.Kaka, Kaki also play with me. I like to listen to 'Shri Krishna Sharnam ma' from them. I also love to seat on a swing which is in patio. Many duckies and turtles come to us when we seat on a swing as there is a creek right behind patio.


I love to sleep in a froggy position in my dad's hands. I also like to listen to dad singing 'chaki cha na piwai, chaki cha na piwai', ' We will we will rock you, we will we will rock you' and many more random songs. Most of them created by him.

I had been to temple on Janmastami and also last Saturday. There was 'Hindola' and 'Bhajans' at temple. I was in my car seat whole time. Last Saturday my mom, dad and I went to temple together first time with both Ba and Dada.

Happy B'day to me, Happy B'day to me.. Happy B'day Dear Ansh, Happy B'day to me.... Wish me 2 months B'day. I completed 2 months on this 25th August. I got many cloths as a gift from Ba and Dadaji. Naniba also brought many cloths for me from India and Mummy, daddy brought some cloths for me yesterday. So, now my whole ward rob is changed. New born cloths does not feat me anymore.

These days Mummy, Pappa gave me Massage and Bath few times. It was fun for them, but it was a new experience for me.

I am growing very fast and enjoying my days with everyone.

Keep you posted with my new adventures. Gtg to sleep, its my sleeping time, and ya one more thing, I use my new goofy pillow which papa bought for me and a froggy pillow when I sleep.

Week 9 Part 1: Mommy is back!!!!!

Hi Everyone, my mommy is back. She came back on Monday and has been at home with me since then. Now I spend alllllllllllllll day with her, naniba, and daddy. In the evening I spend time with ba, dada, kaka, and kaki. I am rolling over lot more regularly with some help. I also like laying on my back or on my tummy and smiling up at everyone. I am smiling a lot more.

I also like to play with my toys. In particular I love staring at my bright purple monkey. I also have a brown bear, a light yellow baby, a blue doggy with a book, a yellow ducky, a light pink duky with blue cap, a yellow goofy pillow, a purple turtle pillow, yellow duky with three fishes hanging down, a blue doggy and lot more.

I love to listen when someone talks to me. These days mumma tells me lot of stories everyday. I also read first word book with mumma everyday in the afternoon. Naniba sings many songs for me and I love to listen to those songs. I go to sleep when pappa holds me like froggy. I seat on a swing with ba and dada and I go with them in my stroller for a walk in the evening everyday.

These days when Ba gives me a bath I seat in a doll filled with water. I love to take shower. I also make different types of noises.

I had doctors appointment on 19th August. Now I am 24 inches long and 12 pounds 6 oz. Doctor said my height is 90% of my age babies and my weight is 80%. My growth is very good. I took 4 shots one by mouth and three injections :(. I had a little temperature for couple days, but I am doing fine now.

I play a lot on the flat surface, I do cycling with my legs and I do boxing with my hands when I am in a mood to play. when I roll over and I am on my tummy I lift my head even 90 degrees.

Week 8: Naniba is here, Rakshabandhan, and meeting mommy again

My naniba came on Tuesday night to stay with me!!! yuppiee... I have one more person to look after and pamper me. I spent the Tuesday night in between naniba and ba :). I am also spending a lot of time with my kaka-kaki and ba-dada.

I love going out for a walk with dada in a stroller. I look around and see what is going on in the outside world. I also like the nice wind that blows outside. My stroller is black and red and looks pretty cool. Check it out in the pics.

I am also rolling a lot more and I can take my hand out from under me by myself. You can check that out in videos and pics for this week. I am trying desperately to try and move my legs when I am on my tummy as well.

I also went to see mommy again. I miss her a lot. I told her that I missed her a lot and then fell asleep in her lap. I love the way mommy cuddles me. Hopefully she will be back home soooooooooooooooooooooooooon. Dad comes home little more and has more time to play with me.

This Saturday was also Rakshabandhan. I got two raakhis. One from Riyadidi and one from Stutididi. Stutididi came to our place did a tiku and tied a raakhi. I also played with her. You can check out pictures in the link below.

Week 7: part 2 meeting mom

Hi Everyone,

I saw my mommy today after 12 days :(. She has been in a hospital with some health problems. I went to the hospital to see her. She was able to come down and play with me for about an hour. She fed me some formula and gave me lots of hugs and kisses. Man I had missed her sooooooooooooooo much. I was very happy to see her and after all the excitement fell asleep. We took some pictures. Check them out in the week 7 pictures link in the previous post.

Apart from that I am having fun with everyone at home and continuing to roll over and back. There is even a picture of me on my tummy in the pics. I stay with my kaka kaki till late night/early morning and then go to ba and dada's room for rest of sleep. I spend all day with ba. I have developed a habit of smiling a lot once I am fed and changed in the morning. I look at everyone and give them a big smile. My dad comes home every couple days and plays with me for some time before heading back to be with my mom.

Hopefully, my mom will be back soon with me. Signing off for now....
